You've captured the beauty and nostalgia of life in a quiet, small town. You've ignited wonderful memories from this individual who spent the first 22 years of her life in Hobart. Thank you.

Hello! I enjoyed your site. I happened to run across it in a search for information about the band director at Hobart in the 1930s, William D. Revelli. If you (or anyone who runs across this) have any information regarding him, would you please email me? Thank you very much, and keep up the great work!

What a beautiful site this is! Enjoyed all of it very much. You have done a wonderful job. :) I found this site as I was looking up the city in which my ex-Sweetie moved to. I guess I was just thinking of him and needed to see the place he is now. Thank you for giving me such a real picture of the town. I feel like I was there. (Be happy, Daniel, and Please Remember :))

Frank and Jackie, you have a wonderful site and my thanks to Pat Beattie for directing me to it. I was born in Gary (Tolleston) in 1932. Our family moved to Hobart in January 1942; first to 1129 Garfield St. and then in 1948 to 49 N. Linda. I graduated from HHS in 1950 and continued to live there until 1961. Although I have lived in many places since then Hobart is, has been, and always will be "my home town". Don Fedorchak

I really enjoy your site, it was just sent to me by a freind. I would like to say hello to my classmates from the class of 1947. In the subdivision I live in in Fl. there is also Ed Alexander class of 1950 & Harry Moehl from Hobart. Don Fedorchak class of 1950 also lives close by. I dont know if the Fl. residents & winter visitors from Hobart are aware that there is a reunion of former Hobart residents every year at a different location in Fl. there has been close to 100 attending & growing each year. It is usually held the 3rd week in Jan.I could give any one that is interested more information. Patrick Beattie

Hello to the two of you. Like some of the others, I came across your page by accident. What an accident! It is one of the best personal pages that I have seen and I've been looking at some for about 10 yrs now. My grandparents lived in Hobart for years and I lived in Hobart from July 1948 until Dec of 2002. Three of my four children still live there. I will just say "DITTO" to most of the remarks of the previous visitors. Just retired (76 yrs old) to Florida, was born in Gary butlived most of my life in Hobart so I have seen some of the changes that you talk about on the pages and also remember fishing Lake George with my father and grandfather when it had good fish in it. OK, will not take up anymore of your page with too much talk so again, very nice page . Keep it up.Russ and Dee Fife

It is great to see this information. I graduated from HHS in 1969 and would love to hear from any former classmates. My sister-in-law Jan Osika teaches at the high school and my nephew Craig played football for them and IU and currently is #71 for the SF 49'ers.I remember Abbotts, Mr. Alleys, Lake George, rock bands at the tennis courts near the high school, Harmony House music store and many other places. Thanks for letting me see it. I am going to let the official HHS website know you are here. Cheers.

A couple of years ago I took my daughter for atour of the high school, she couldn't believe how little itwas believe it or not. I asked her if she would like tolive in Hobart of course she was raised in a big city so youcan imagine her answer, but it will always be home for me

This is quite an amazing web page and guest book! We live around 120 miles away. Parents still live in Hobart. In Barrington Ridge, by hospital. We lived on Wabash St. HHS grad of 1974. Purdue 1978. Brother graduated in 78. Lives in Indy. Well done. Get back maybe 4x/yr. Hobart was an interesting place. Anyone remember Miss Payne and Mr. Robb in high school? Mr. Scarborough, too. Great people, great teachers.
